Personalized Learning 1.0

On July 31st over 100 staff members came to participate in the Personalized Learning Academy 1.0.  We were very excited to see the great conversations, joint learning, and teamwork that came out of the day.  The group included both staff from Kaneland as well as Sycamore.  Please remember that the 1.0 Academy is required by December 2017.  We look forward to more learning throughout the school year as we progress towards our goals in Personalized Learning.

Escape Room Champion Second Semester

It is a bit late, but we wanted to send a congratulations to the 4th and 5th grade teams from KSS for being the second semester escape room champion.  The team members will receive gift cards upon return to school.  Congrats.  We have now opened escape rooms for students and field trips too.  The rooms are designed to cover ELA, Science, Math and teamwork.  You may take a in-district field trip to the student escape rooms and also connect with FVCC fire and nursing programs while on site.  For more information please contact Sarah Mumm.  As always, the staff escape room is open for business again this year.  We have shifted a few of the tasks to bring even more experiences to our staff.  Please get your team together and come see if you can escape!
