"Kendall is the type of person and teacher that kids respect and want to do well for. She can connect with kids that many other teachers have given up on, and she makes it seem effortless. She is genuine in her dealings with the students, and they all can tell. Additionally, she is a driving force in motivating students who struggle, even after they have moved on to high school and beyond. Kids look forward to seeing her and telling her all of their joys. She is absolutely incredible in getting kids to open up, reflect, and try their best. This world NEEDS more people like her!"
Kendall was chosen at random, from among 14 September nominees, to receive a September Box 'o Fun.
