SIP Data Collection

Just a reminder that over the past week and the next two weeks many staff members will be visiting for the final SIP Data collection.  This has been the planned month for SIP data collection since the summer.  Building SIP teams will be coming as well as Administration and Instructional Coaches.   This has been a collective SIP plan that every building has been a part of EC-12.  We are looking forward to seeing the data from your and your students very hard work. 

Video Request

As we begin to think forward to Academy 2.5 next August, we would like to collect a few video samples from our Kaneland classrooms of students showing proficiency in their I Can Statements.  Many of you have implemented a variety of ways for students to show what they know and prove proficiency.  We would love to capture those experiences to use as learning tools.  Please submit those videos to Sarah Mumm.  Always be sure that the student in the video is approved to have their picture shown on video before submission.  Thank you

IAR Testing is Coming

In the process of gearing up for the revised State of Illinois test, IAR, we wanted to share the most up to date resources with all staff.  Please note the following website has many resources.  Including when they can use a calculator, the units, the testing window, and manuals.  Please look at the PDF documents on this website to best inform and prepare fyour self for the IAR test.  ISBE website.

Each school will determine their exact testing dates, so please be on the lookout for that.  Please let Sarah or Mike know if you have any questions on this new assessment at all.  We are here to help! 

Learner Profile Samples Request

As we gear up for the exciting Gallery Walk on February 28th at KHS from 6:00-8:00 we would like to have a few actual Learner Profile samples to share with our community.  If you would please review your students' profiles and ask if we may share a few with the community that would be great.  If you have one to share you can either share it through google with Sarah Mumm or print the pages and send them over to the district office.  Please send the samples by February 25th.  We are excited to see the progress on the profile.  Thank you in advance for sharing.
