Kane County Day Tips

Tomorrow is Kane County Day.  We are excited to be a host this year!  Please be sure to check in at the location (KHS or Meredith Middle School) that your first session is held at.  We look forward to welcoming you as early as 7:15.  All sessions will begin at 8:00 so plan ahead for walking, parking and check in lines.  We will have two small buses running between the Meredith campus and the High School.  The bus will run from the front door of KHS to the front door of Meredith if you are transitioning between the locations.  It also should be a dry day and great for a walk between schools.  Please be sure to check in and pick up your folder as well as complete your end of day evaluation in order for full credit for attending.  Please let Mike and Sarah know any feedback on the day.  We always look forward to providing the best learning experience for our staff as possible.

Video Challenge Showing Your Pride

Just a reminder that the video challenge is coming to an end on April 2nd.  You may want to consider taking your longer lunch this Friday at the Institute Day to create your video submission.  All videos must show your Kaneland Pride in your most creative way!  Categories include:  drama, comedy, and action.  Be sure to submit your video to Sarah Mumm at 10358@kaneland.org.  Prizes will be awarded in April!  Good luck and happy videoing!

Gallery Walk Success!

Thank you to all staff who came out to share and celebrate the learning in Kaneland.  It was a great night of wonderful discussion, sharing, and learning.  The night truly exemplified what Kaneland Pride means!  If you happen to miss the evening, please check out the news article on the event!  http://www.kcchronicle.com/lists/2018/02/27/132a54a8df1b4232b17115666b1d7b6e/index.xml?page=1

Welcome to the Class of 2031

This past weekend we welcomed the Class of 2031 (does not seem possible, right!).  Thank you to all who assisted at the Young Knights Fair.  We could not have registered nearly 200 students in 3 hours without all of our amazing staff.  Thank you!  Please encourage all parents and community members you talk with to register their incoming Preschool or Kindergarten students prior to March 15th in order to best assist us with planning and staffing.  Here are some great pictures from that day!
