K-5 Writing Focus for 2023-24
After much discussion with grade level teams and Instructional Coaches, our district will be focusing on the narrative writing genre for the norming process. This will give all of us an opportunity to see growth in narrative over the past years and to collect student samples to prepare for the future norming in years to come in opinion. As you begin to consider the planning of your writing sequence please note that narrative samples for norming will be collected at the start and the end of the school year.
