Just in Case....To Be Prepared for Friday

With possible snow and ice, the district office has been in contact with the ROE and planning options for Friday's institute day.  We will carefully watch the weather and always make the best choice for our educators.  We value the learning we have together since our PD days are so limited, but do want to make sure our staff is safe.  Here are a few things to have prepared:

1.  Be sure to take your documents and computer with you Thursday just in case there is e-learning PD sessions

2.  Be sure to listen and check emails that morning

3.  Be sure if you choose to not attend a session you are registered for at the Q Center, you check into a Kaneland campus and email Educational Service in order to not be marked absent based on session sign in forms from the ROE

4.   Be sure your work is completed on campus if schools are open, this does not mean your home school is required, you may meet and work at any Kaneland campus based on your session choice

5.  If you are going to be absent that day, please email your direct supervisor

Please know the district office is researching and considering all possible options and watching the progression of the storm carefully.
