Summer PD Offerings Update

 We are excited to share that we were able to add a F and P Word Study summer PD session for June 1st.  Please see this link for all summer PD options.

Roadshow Update

 This week we kicked off our roadshow.  Remember you can access the roadshow in four ways this year:

L- Direct Instruction- Go to designated room at your school If you would like to hear every slide discussed and read, questions will be submitted afterwards 

D- Differentiated - Go to designated room at your school to hear information on slides most relevant to your grade span (selected by Ed Services) 

I- Flipped experience- Go to designated room at your school for a Q and A based on your pre-reading of the slides

P-If you have reviewed, and you are all good on the content, please sign off using the google form from the roadshow slides and enjoy the gift of time   

After each school roadshow we will also be updating Q and A from that school in order to help others with possible questions they might have.  Here is the link to the ongoing questions covered at the sessions. 

Please remember this is a benefit to have the ability to see the explicit expectations for the next school year the April prior.  It is expected that all staff maintain respect and professionalism while sharing questions and discussing about the roadshow.  We would expect the sessions to be collaborative and all staff should treat each other in the same manner they would like to be treated.      

Conferring Lab Site Professional Development

 We are excited to offer one last set of writing lab site professional development experiences for this school year.  On May 3rd we will have two classrooms open for staff to attend lab sites focused on conferring.  Conferring is a topic in writing that you can observe at any grade level and learn the keys to best practices.  The May 3rd conferring sessions will be held in the AM (focus on 1:1 conferring) or PM (focus on small group conferring) for staff and will be facilitated by our writing consulting Anne Olsen.  If you would like to attend the lab site sessions in May please complete this google form.
