Our Knights' Family
Last week about 5 minutes after the blog was sent out an email came to me. Lorrie Hamblen had read the collective efficacy post and wanted me to know that while the content was good, she did NOT appreciate the reference to the Brewers. She asked that I try to find a post next time about her beloved Cubs. The email has stuck with me this week especially and we all grieve the loss of our dear friend and colleague. Over the past few days our Knights' Family has shown. This district, like no other I believe, is there for each other in good times and difficult times. We are family first and colleagues second. I want to thank each and everyone of you for the above and beyond support you have shown to KSS and HMS and to each other across all schools. The ability to care for each other as much as yourselves is truly the Knight's Way. Please remember that in the days, weeks, and months to come there will always remain a need for that level of support. Each and every day there is someone that needs a hug, a smile, a text every morning to remind them to get up and workout, and caring hand. Please take time to reach out and support each other. Thank you to the most amazing district, everyone one of us should be so proud to be a Knight! We wish you the very best over break and hope that each of you finds relaxation, enjoyment and peace.
