Kaneland Connects Commitment Team Meeting Follow Up
Last night we met for the second of three Kaneland Connects committee meetings. We had a group of about 25 that discussed our current progress on our commitments and did a deep dive into the community goals for the year, offering further suggestions on how to bring those goals to life. We ended the night with two break-out groups, a K-5 group to look at bringing PBP tables to life, and a 6-12 group to discuss the transition away from SBG. The team will be meeting again for the final time this year on April 23rd. Please let Ed Services know if you are interested in attending and we can share the agenda as the date approaches.
Shared Feedback Needed
Please remember to complete and share feedback to assist in our planning for next year on the following topics. The surveys will be closing very soon. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Lucky Duck Weekly Winner
It has been awhile since we have had a weekly lucky duck number. As a district we are now over 70 matches!!! Keep up the great duck hunting! We have the HUGE raffle coming in May! If you are a lucky duck number 147 email Sarah Mumm for a sweet treat! Congrats! Remember just how lucky we all are to be in our Kaneland community! You are appreciated!
K-5 Post Math Test Suggestions
As we begin to think about planning the Spring math cumulative test (with all domains) we are suggesting that the test can be administered and completed within a week period of 5 school days. We realize when post testing on all domains the test will be longer for some students and will need to be taken over the course of a week. This is a suggestion for this year and we will need feedback on the time we would like to set as a guideline for the district moving forward. Please take note of how long each domain takes for feedback. If students are not finished within a week, please contact Sarah Mumm for further support.
Creating and Sharing Student Friendly PBP Tables
As you further created student friendly PBP table versions over the course of this year and next, please feel free to share any documents you created to use with students in our shared Student Friendly folder. Please do not upload or post student friendly PBP tables or revised PBP tables to the grade level folders in order to not confuse staff on which is the district final PBP table to use. Thank you so much for diving in and truly expanding how we use PBP tables for reflective feedback conferences with students! Keep up the great work!
Feedback PD Planning
In order to best plan next year's focus professional development on potent feedback, we would love for staff to share a reflection of current feedback practices. Please take a moment to fill out the feedback reflection form linked below by February 29th. Thank you in advance for any reflection feedback that you can share to better assist us in planning of professional development.
