K-5 Summer School Day Camp

 This year for the summer school day camp in July we are hoping to highlight and host mini stations that allow students to explore various activities, talents, arts, and much more with our community connections.  We are wanting to model for our students all the great things they can explore and learn.  If you have a unique talent or would like to volunteer to host one mini-session from 1:30-3:30 (rotating every 30 mins) for one day in July during summer school, please contact Sarah Mumm at 10358@kaneland.org with you idea.  For example we will have an author doing a writing make a book day and a fireman sharing the science of the profession.  We would love to have any staff interested in sharing ideas and skills regarding a sport, hobby, fun content, or any exciting activity.

Book Creator is an online tool for making interactive digital books, notebooks, graphic organizers, and unit plans. It’s incredibly easy and can be used for any subject/grade level. Social Studies Samples - Would you want any of them? (K-12)

 Hi All-

As you know we have completed our social studies review with Board approval last week. Our current selection of tools that we will purchase July 1st are now on public display for 30 days. With that being said, we have a large number of samples from various vendors. If you would like any of these titles, please let Patrick (11509@kaneland.org) or Sarah (10358@kaneland.org) know. If we do not have any takers, we tend to keep a copy of each in our professional learning library at Meredith.
