ELL Coordinator Update

 Hi All

We are in the process of hiring a part-time ELL coordinator for the remainder of the school year. During Winter Break, our previous coordinator, Jessica Wiechert, resigned. If you have any immediate ELL needs, please reach out to your ELL teacher at your building if appropriate. If not, please email Sarah Mumm or Patrick Raleigh. Ed Services will also aid in finding any translation needs for the time being. Please send those requests to AnnMarie Franz at 66390@kaneland.org.

Ed Service...At Your Service

PL Vlog: Sketchnoting in Kaneland

Sketchnoting as a strategy for supporting increased student engagement, comprehension, and personalization is popping up all over Kaneland. Take a minute to watch this short video explaining Sketchnoting in general, as well as the benefits of incorporating the strategy into the classroom. You'll also get a sneak peek into Beth Trafton's middle school classroom to see how she uses the strategy herself, and how she incorporates it into her instruction. Feel free to add a comment about your own experience with Sketchnoting. Enjoy!
