Summer Reading- How to Personalize Learning

If you are starting to build your summer reading list, but worry about getting through all those books in one summer....check this website out.  It gives you video options, chapter reviews, and short discussion questions for you.  This is a highly recommended book for practical ideas on how to begin the personalized learning journey and continue your implementation from where you and your students are right now.  Happy reading!

TAC Update

This month, April, the TAC Committee met in person. The following items were discussed:

E-Learning day ideas were briefly shared with the group. Blizzard Bag Ideas Go Here--EC-5th, exploratory & SEL included. Continue to add ideas until May 30th.

Use of iReady was discussed. 4th and 5th grade are currently required to utilize iReady. Should 3rd grade be required to use iReady for diagnostic purposes? Let a TAC member know your thoughts. Reminder: AIMSweb will no longer be used, so we will not have this data point.

Use of Student Planners were discussed. Possible change to Learning Planners for 4th & 5th to support executive functioning, focus on I can statements, planning ahead for your day/week, tying in home & parent connection by including after school activities

Goal ideas for next year were generated for the Educator Advisory Committee.
