With a few modifications, shifts, tweaks, and revisions, IgKnight 2020 is a go! The event will be fully remote, allowing staff to engage in powerful professional development opportunities from the comfort of their own homes. A few things to note:
- All "In-Person" sessions have either transitioned to a remote format or have been canceled. All staff originally registered for an "In-Person" session have been notified as to whether their original session will be remote or if it needed to be canceled. If you were scheduled for an "In-Person" session and have not been contacted, please email Laura Garland at 10166@kaneland.org.
- If one of your sessions was canceled, you will be able to access Sched to register for a self-paced session in its place. Sched will remain open for revised registration through Thursday, 11/19/20 at 3pm. This is only for those who have had a session canceled! Please do not alter your registration otherwise, as session facilitators have already planned for your attendance.
- You will receive a document on Friday, 11/20/20, containing links to all self-paced module sessions. Please use this document to access the content, as you engage in self-paced sessions throughout the day on 11/23/2020.
- All staff must sign in and out of the conference on 11/23/2020. It is required by ISBE that we maintain evidence of participation for all professional development provided by the district. You will receive a Google Form at the start of the day and again at the end of the day. Please be sure to complete both.
- A brief WELCOME to IgKnight 2020 video will be sent to all staff on Friday. This video is intended to be viewed on the morning of the conference, prior to your first session.
- Be sure to take a look at the Raffle post submitted by one of the administrative interns.
- For all "Remote Live" sessions, your facilitator will send you a Zoom link directly.
