3rd-12th Grade Editing the Learner Profile
Over the course of the next few years, students will want to revised and edit their learner profile as they grow as an individual and learner. The intent of the Learner Profile is to keep one record of growth throughout their learning career at Kaneland. Therefore please encourage and model for students the following step to editing and revising their Learner Profile in their google drive.
- Open their own original Learner Profile document
- Make a copy of the slide they want to edit and place it under slide 3 (the three introductory slides will remain in place).
- Have them edit the title and add the year they are revising on that slide heading.
- Edit as they see fit.
- Any further slides they want to edit within that year will go under the slide they just copied into the fourth slide position.
K-2 Learner Profile Collection Process
2017-2018
Over the course of this school year, our younger students have been using a variety of templates for their reflective practices on the learner profile. We realize that they do not have access to the “official” profile in the google drive until mid to end of Second Grade. The following are directions to capture the excellent work kindergarten through second grade students have started and share with future grades as they graduate to the next level. Please follow the directions specifically in order to provide ease in finding the students work in the future years. Thank you to all staff who supported the learner profile completion and reflection with our students. Such great products were produced along with amazing conversations.
