SIP Data for Proficiency-Bases Progress Goal

The data is in from the initial rounds of interviews for the proficiency-based progress goal. Remember, the intent of this goal is to make sure we are clearly articulating to our students what the I Can statements for the lesson, how they have received feedback on that specific I Can, and how they changed their learning opportunities based on that feedback. We collected 1,208 responses from the interviews. Our goal is to be at 65% of students at the 2 or 3 levels on the rubric by February 2020. We are currently right around 28% to start the year.

We have 342 responses at the 2/3 level and 866 at the 0/1 level. As we work to move those 866 forward, it is important to draw attention to each lesson to your I Can statements. Learning should not be a surprise. Teacher clarity is one of the most influential factors of learning available to us. Take advantage!

Data for the Learner Profile is currently being scored by our coaches and administrative team. It will be finalized by the end of the month. We will share those results when we have them all.
