As you begin to design your customized path to completing Personalized Learning Academy 3.0, please keep the following information in mind, which comes from the shared presentation, Personalized Learning Academy 3.0.
- Remember that PL 3.0 is the culmination of many years of district-provided professional learning experiences, and is designed to ensure that ALL Kaneland students have opportunities to engage with personalized learning experiences.
- Reflect on the ten required PL tenants (listed on slide #5 in the 3.0 presentation), and your current level of implementation with each. The Personalized Learning Hub shared on slide 33, is a great resource to support you.
- You have the autonomy to design a pacing guide and completion sequence that best meets your personal needs. The 3.0 presentation has an example template you can use to draft your pathway. Here is an example of a template created by a Kaneland staff member showing the order in which they plan to progress through the tenants.
- Your pathway can evolve over the next 18 months. To start, you just need to identify the tenants you already have securely in place and can update your path as your progress with implementing the information accumulated through district-professional learning.
- EAC/ Leadership committees will be working to support progress within PL 3.0. Feel free to share questions with a rep or attend as a guest.
- If you need help getting started, be sure to access your instructional coaches and/or Ed Service team members for support.
