Proficiency Tables to Increase Clarity
Proficiency tables detail exactly what learning looks and sounds like at various stages of proficiency for a given standard. Additionally, they help learners to reflect on and gauge their own progress within a reported standard, as well as to identify their next steps in learning.Please see this video for a review of tenet F
42 staff members have completed the requirements within PL 3.0 submissions for Proficiency Tables to Increase Clarity. Some submitted examples include:
-Student self-assessment and goal setting using a Proficiency Table
-Incorporating Proficiency Tables within Feedback Cycles
-Student identification of evidence of proficient indicators within writing samples
-Student advocacy for additional learning and re-assessment opportunities based on the identification of their own learning gaps, as identified through a review of proficient indicators
