EAC met on 4/17/23 for the monthly meeting. The following were topics discussed. Feel free to follow up with an EAC member for further clarification:
- Feedback from March electronic meeting was reviewed and clarified
- Report Card Trends were analyzed. EAC will seek feedback from teams about which reported standards are taught during each trimester, and when proficiency is expected for each reported standard.
- EAC reviewed the 5 commitments and determined levels of proficiency (beginning, progressing, proficient) for each commitment within classrooms.
- EAC reviewed membership for next year and discussed ways to increase representation at all buildings and grade spans. Possible agenda topics for 2023-24 were discussed.
- Members took time to look at Tenet Evidence Wall in KMAC LRC and discuss trends and observations. There are many different ways teachers are sharing evidence. Teachers are encouraged to visit the evidence wall for ideas!
- Members discussed learner profiles and shared feedback on what worked, what didn’t work, and supports needed for implementation in classrooms next year. The only requirement is that all students have a learner profile, teachers and students can determine how that looks in their classrooms.
