Summer School Vacancies
I know it's only October but we are already planning for summer school 2024! Last Friday vacancies were posted for the following positions:

Below is proposed/tentative information about the elementary summer school structure. Please note that interns are college students who are currently enrolled in a college of education program. Please reach out to Kara Salto, Elementary Summer School Principal, for additional information and/or questions. Please also see the IgKnight session opportunity below to gain additional information about our K-12 summer school program.
Summer School Dates: July 8th - August 1st, 2023 (Monday-Thursday)
Elementary Gradespan: Students who will be entering 1st-5th grade for 2024-2025 school year. There is a proposed Step up to Kindergarten session for incoming Kindergarten students. We are proposing that outgoing 5th grade students attend middle school programming.
Elementary Proposed structure:
8:30-11:00- Interdisciplinary block with customized paths (1 KEA with 2 Interns for every 30 students)
11:00-11:55 Lunch/Recess for students who attended the interdisciplinary course and who are also attending an engagement camp
12:00-1:30 Engagement Camps (Sessions offered in 2 week increments)
1:30-3:30 Themed Day Camp

Do you find that after a few weeks of summer you don’t know what to do? Do you love teaching and having fun with students? Do you have a passion for science, music, basketball, weightlifting, podcasting, sewing, dancing, etc? If you answered yes to any of these questions, sign up for the "I'm Ready for Summer" session during the IgKnight conference to get answers to all of the questions you’ve always wondered about!
