This summer we have a unique opportunity to complete a self-paced Canvas Studio course to dive deeper into the features of Canvas. This is a summer course that you can sign up, work on Canvas and get paid for your time. This course can be done virtually on your own schedule. Course Outline
This course covers the following topics and offers a certificate upon completion with an 80% or higher competency. The course typically takes 80-90 minutes to complete.

- Computer Specifications
- Managing users in Studio Sites for Admins (please skip if you are an instructor or instructional designer)
- Accessing Canvas Studio
- Canvas Studio Media Library
- Ways to integrate Canvas Studio content into your Canvas Courses
- Create, edit and share recordings
- Commenting and replying to media in Canvas Studio
- Video quizzing
- Canvas Studio insights
- Captioning videos
- Tips & resources
Note: This course requires instructor permissions. Some functionality may differ based on the custom permission settings your institution employs. This course should be accessed from a district-issued laptop (not from a Chromebook).
Learning Goals
- Add & share media to the Studio library
- Increase the engagement of media with commenting and quizzing tools
- Monitor student interaction with course media using Studio Insights
