This month the Educational Service Department was very excited to get out into the schools and visit classrooms to see learning come alive. Thank you to all who welcomed us into their classrooms. We noticed the following trends in our learning environments:
-Student engagement in setting routines
-Lots of relationship building
-Lots of respectful and energetic conversations
-I can statements may have been posted but often not referenced during learning
One easy way to continue to grow the learning experience for students may be to:
1. Provide more student led dialogue
2. Embed and reference the I can statements during learning to reinforce the learning expectations
We have made a minor addition to the What I Noticed form and added the expectation in each section linked to our 2021-22 Kaneland Connects Goals. Thank you again for all you do for our students. It was very exciting to see learning, staff and students again!
