Reporting student progress is not just for teachers! Students themselves should be able to articulate the standards they are working on, where they are on the path toward proficiency, and what their next steps in learning are. They should also be reflecting on themselves as learners and advocating for their learning needs. At IgKnight, students are sharing their learning progress with their parents through a Friday email. In these early weeks, they are focusing on their acclimation to IgKnight but will be progressing towards sharing the standards they are working on, where they are on continuums or learning, and information about their customized learning pathways.
